Top Talent Solutions (TTS) is pleased to announce the appointment of JP van Zittert as Principal Consultant: Business Development, further strengthening the firm’s capability to deliver high-impact, science-led people solutions to clients across industries.
JP joins TTS with over 13 years of experience in Industrial and Organisational Psychology, bringing a depth of expertise that spans organisational design, talent and succession management, leadership development, and large-scale HR transformation. He is a dual-registered Industrial Psychologist (HPCSA and BPS UK) and a SARA-registered Reward Specialist, with a career that reflects both academic rigour and practical application in complex organisational environments.
His professional journey includes senior roles at Deloitte, Comair, SA Taxi Development Finance, and Mukuru, where he led and embedded enterprise-wide people practices across financial services, public, fintech, telecommunication, mining, and aviation sectors. This cross-industry exposure positions him uniquely to partner with organisations navigating growth, transformation, and evolving workforce demands.
JP has built and led global assessment functions, managing psychometric operations across regional and multinational contexts. His work has consistently focused on designing and implementing scalable talent frameworks, from competency models and leadership pipelines to integrated succession strategies, across all organisational levels.
A notable highlight of his career includes the design and launch of the Mukuru Rise Academy, a leadership development initiative recognised as a Global Best Practice by the Top Employers Institute. The programme successfully developed leaders across specialised business tracks, demonstrating JP’s ability to translate strategy into measurable development outcomes.
In addition, JP has played a pivotal role in advancing employee experience and organisational listening practices. At Mukuru, he established a multinational engagement framework spanning 16 countries, integrating survey methodology, action planning, and AI-driven wellness tools to support a diverse and distributed workforce.
His contributions to talent acquisition and selection have also been formally recognised, earning him the SIOPSA Business Leader of the Year award in 2024 for innovative approaches that strengthened organisational capability while enhancing employee wellbeing.
JP holds a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from North-West University and is Prosci-certified in Change Management. He is also an established thought leader, having presented at over 50 conferences on topics including leadership, organisational development, talent strategy, and the future of work.
In his role at TTS, JP will focus on partnering closely with clients to design and implement integrated, evidence-based solutions that enable sustainable organisational performance.
